Pastor Dan was born in Nome, Alaska and grew up in a Christian home. He invited Jesus into his life when he was four years old and rededicated his life to Christ at the age of seventeen. He attended North Park College in Chicago for University and Seminary. He served as pastor in Golovin, Alaska, Emo, Ontario, and Minnedosa, Manitoba before being called to Clear Lake in 2011. Dan has been an ordained minister with the Evangelical Covenant since 1997. Dan has been married to Leah since 1997 and they have three children, Clara, Isaac and John.
I grew up in Winter, WI where I met and married my high school sweetheart, John. We moved to Clear Lake in 1997 to be closer to Johns job and welcomed our first daughter, Elizabeth (Lizzy) in 2000. In 2001 I began bringing Lizzy to Little Lambs Day Care Center, a ministry of United Covenant Church, which led to a job with Little Lambs that same year. Over the years, I have served Little Lambs as a cook, a preschool teacher and now as the Office Administrator. My job in Little Lambs drew me into this church and in 2002 I gave my life to Christ. I am often amazed at the work He has done and is doing in my life! In 2003 I began working directly for United Covenant as the Office Administrator and in 2006 we welcomed our second daughter, Grace. I love spending time with my family, my friends and all the children at Little Lambs and am so thankful for a job that allows me to do all of these things while serving the Lord.
I grew up in International Falls, MN, and learned to trust Jesus as my Savior at an early age. My parents, a strong youth group, and Bluewater Covenant Bible Camp were very influential in shaping my desire to follow the Lord. In 1997 I graduated from Bemidji State University in English Education, married Dan Pearson, and moved to Off Lake Covenant Church in Ontario, where we began ministering together. We eventually moved to Minnedosa Covenant Church in Manitoba, Canada, and then in 2011 were called to serve in Clear Lake, WI. God has blessed us with 3 beautiful children, Clara, Isaac, and John. I have always been drawn closer to the Lord through music, and am blessed that I can serve United Covenant Church in this way.

I grew up in Buffalo, MN and went to Lake Beauty Bible Camp every summer which is where I accepted Jesus as my savior at a young age. I graduated from Buffalo High School in 2008 and went to Northwester College (now University of Northwestern, St. Paul) in Roseville, MN where I graduated with a Youth and Family Ministry degree in 2012. I also worked on summer staff for 4 summers at Lake Beauty Bible Camp including the full year internship in 2011-2012. I moved from college to Foley, MN where I served at Maywood Covenant Church for 3 years before God called me here to United Covenant.
I am passionate about a few different things. I love music. I am a
drummer and music has played a major part in my life. I also love
sports. Football is my favorite sport to watch and the Vikings are my
team! And no, I won't be changing my allegiance to the Packers. I really
enjoy playing golf, going bowling, and playing games like ping pong and Foosball. I am also very passionate about youth ministry. I really
enjoy helping students to see God's love. Plus it gives me an excuse to
not really grow up!
